The long anticipated face to face meeting between Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and Croatian international midfielder Luka Modric has been postponed until Friday Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
According to the report, the meeting w as scheduled to take place today but has been postponed to Friday, incidentally when Inter’s Directors are in Italy together with the entire Nerazzurri squad for their International Champions Cup fixture against Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. The Nerazzurri have as previously reported set a deadline for this Saturday for when they want a definitive response regarding Luka Modric, the same day of their fixture against Atletico.
It is looking like everything will be decided when all the parties of this tale are gathered in the same city, namely the Spanish capital of Madrid where no matter how the fixture against Atletico Madrid goes, Inter could come back home to Milano with the best player of the FIFA World Cup.
