Revealed: Barcelona plan a €600million Camp Nou redevelopment

The Catalans have already reached an agreement with the city council.
The ‘Espai Barca’ plan for the redevelopment includes:

• Camp Nou would be increased as 105,000 spectators would be allowed at the stands. Moreover, a roof, new VIP boxes and restaurants overlooking the pitch would also be added.

• Palau Blaugrana would be constructed on the site of the Miniestadi. This venue would have 12,000 seats and would house basketball, handball, roller hockey and futsal matches.

• A footbridge will link Palau with the Camp Nou. The club offices, shops and restaurants would be located just below.

• Estadi Johan Cruyff would be constructed about ten kilometers from the Camp Nou. This would be a home for Barcelona B team. UEFA Youth League and Women’s Champions League matches would also take part here. The 6,000-seater stadium is expected to be completed already this year.

The work is expected to cost €600m.
