Real Madrid would be willing to sell Gareth Bale this summer should his asking price be met, according to reports in the Spanish press.

The 28-year-old moved to the Bernabeu in the summer of 2013 and has won three Champions League titles since, but a report in Marca indicates Madrid are now willing to sell.

The Welshman is now said to be viewed as dispensable by officials at the club, with the emergence of Marco Asensio and promise of Isco said to be a catalyst for his anticipated departure.

The report states how the Welshman has struggled for fitness over the years, calculating he has amassed a whopping 25 injuries in Madrid, meaning he missed a total of 78 matches.

Bale has not started in the recent matches against Paris Saint-Germain, Real Sociedad or Leganes, and was substituted off against Real Betis.

The club would be willing to accept a bid of €90m for the former Tottenham star, who has attracted interest from Manchester United.
