Real Madrid ace Marcos Asensio makes demands as Chelsea

MARCOS ASENSIO has given Real Madrid a list of demands as Chelsea battle for his signature.

The Spaniard has been a bit-part player this season and only played the second-half of Real’s thrilling clash with Juventus last week.

He’s highly rated in La Liga – but his time at the Bernabeu could be coming to an end.

Spanish media outlet Diario Gol – who are famed for their extravagant transfer rumours – say Chelsea are desperate to secure his signature.

But Asensio is being savvy and is using the Blues’ interest as leverage to negotiate with Real.

It’s suggested he’s told Real chiefs he’ll only stay if no new signings in his position are made.

The playmaker is also demanding a hefty pay increase.

Despite speculation surrounding Asensio, the 22-year-old has previously rubbished suggestions he could move to the Premier League.

“I always try with everything I have left,” Asensio told Nike.

“To reach the biggest club in the world where there are millions of fans and a lot of pressure was a brutal change.

“My debut was in a final. I was not nervous, I scored a goal and I won my first title.

“In all my debuts I’ve always been able to score goals and I have come to Madrid to stay and score many goals.”
