Barcelona have reportedly registered their interest in Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred.
The Brazilian has attracted interest from both Manchester United and Manchester City with the former believed to have moved ahead of their rivals in the race to sign the 25-year-old.
Fred will be part of Brazil’s squad for this summer’s World Cup but be on the move shortly after.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will be monitoring his progress.
They claim that City have already made an offer of £40million but that no deal has been agreed.
The Spanish newspaper also believes Fred could be prised from the Ukrainian side for around £10m less.
