Julen Lopetegui DEMANDS five stars – including Man Utd ace

REAL MADRID’S new manager Julen Lopetegui has reportedly demanded that they sign him FIVE new stars as the club moves on fro Zinedine Zidane.

The Spain manager will take over from at Real after the club announced the successor to Zinedine Zidane.

Lopetegui will move to Los Blancos after the World Cup has been conducted and has quite the shoes to fill.

Zidane left the job last month but in his short reign he secured three Champions League titles – as well as one La Liga title.

He joins Carlo Ancelotti and Bob Paisley as the only managers to win the competition three times.

And Lopetegui has been given the top job and will leave his country’s post, a position he has held since 2016.

According to Don Balon, the 51-year-old has demanded that Los Blancos provide him with five new players to kick off the season.

And they include Man Utd star David de Gea, as well as Alvaro Odriozola from Real Sociedad, and Atlético de Madrid José María Gimenez.

Bayern Munich star Thiago has also been earmarked, who started his career at Barcelona.

He list also includes two mammoth names in Neymar and Robert Lewandowski.

Whether or not Real president Florentino Perez can secure any of these signings remains to be seen.

De Gea was recently asked about the rumours surrounding him with a move to Real beckoning.

He said: “I don’t think Florentino Pérez has my number. I don’t know if I’ll be the goalkeeper at Real Madrid.

“What I do know is that I’m very happy in Manchester. What I want is to win titles, like every other player.”
