Former Real Madrid player joins Shanghai SIGP!

Former Real Madrid player and veteran of Portugal National Team, Ricardo Carvalho that was free agent until today, has singed for Shanghai SIGP who is playing in Chinese Super League.

Carvalho was without club from August 2016 when he terminated the contract with Monaco AS.

Concerned at the amount of money being spent on foreign players in terms of transfer fees and salaries, China’s Football Association clamped down last month, limiting clubs to fielding a maximum of three foreign players per game, so Carvalho will get space to play only if some of the player gets injured or is suspended.

In Shanghai SIGP are  playing also Brazilians Oscar, Hulk and Elekson and also the Uzbekistan captain Ahmedov.
