Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has reportedly already given the club the green light to seal a move for PSG and France star Adrien Rabiot.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that the Spanish giants expect to seal a move for the French midfielder for a fee of around €50M, and that the club want to get the deal over the line as quickly as they can.

The report also notes that the French giants are going to try and tie the player down to a new deal at the Parc Des Princes, and that Barca believe that the player is keen on a chance of scenery.

Rabiot would be a fantastic signing for Barcelona should the Blaugrana managed to get a deal for the player over the line, as the Frenchman has shown during his years at PSG that he has what it takes to cut it in one of the world’s biggest leagues.

Since breaking into PSG’s first team in the 2013/14 season, the 23-year-old has managed to establish himself as a regular started for the French champions.

In the last two years, the midfielder has managed to clock up 60 league appearances out of a possible 78, bagging four goals and eight assists in the process.

If Barca do somehow manage to bag Rabiot for the €50M that they intend to, then it’ll surely go down as one of the best bits of business that the club have done in recent years.
