The prestigious France Football magazine writes that Cristiano Ronaldo was considering a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Juventus, before everything in the football world was complicated due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

The 35-year-old Portuguese star joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018 and has managed to win in both Serie A seasons since his transfer.

But, according to France Football, Ronaldo was not at all impressed by Juventus’ performances before the end of the season in March due to the coronavirus and was considering leaving.

The same medium claims that Ronaldo wanted to move to PSG as he wanted to play alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, as he has a good friendship with the Brazilian and it is said that he really likes Mbappe.

Paris is also said to remain a special place for Ronaldo because it was in the French capital that he managed to win the European Championship trophy with Portugal in 2016.

The Portuguese striker has realized that Juventus do not receive as much attention as Real Madrid or Premier League clubs.

For this reason he reportedly began to consider leaving Juventus and making a dangerous attacking partnership with Neymar and Mbappe at PSG.

However, the Covid-19 pandemic has ruled out such a transfer as PSG, like other European clubs, is in financial crisis and cannot afford Ronaldo’s transfer.
