Ramos and Pique call for people to stay active on World Sports Day

FIFA has joined forces with the United Nations and the World Health Organisation to support the #BeActive campaign which launched on World Sports Day, and both Gerard Pique and Sergio Ramos have called on people to stay fit.

The La Roja defensive pairing are ambassadors for the initiative as people continue to try and stay physically healthy during these times of lockdown across Europe.

World Health Organisation officials have recommended that all healthy adults practice at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day, and that children do double that.

Online exercise classes, dancing, active video games, jump rope and strength and balance exercises are the activities recommended by the group.
