Zidane: Everybody wants me to have a problem with Bale

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has insisted he has no problem with Gareth Bale, who substituted him in a 4-1 victory over Osasuna on Sunday afternoon.

The Welsh winger has started his first match since early January but failed to exert influence on the game.

After about an hour of play, Zidane pulled him out of the game and the provocative questions for the Frenchman were not lacking after the match.

“He’s an important player,” Zidane said.

“I think, having not played in the last few games, he had a good 65 minutes in defense and in attack ”he added.

“The problem is they want us to have a problem with Gareth, but we haven’t,” he insisted.

“We have a lot of players, it’s not easy to manage them all like that, but ultimately he is a really important player and will play like the others little by little,” he concluded.
