The Croatian midfielder was transferred to England by the Italian coach, but he is showing good form only after the Blues singed the legend Lampard.

Maurizio Sarr’s training methods have been described as “boring”, with Mateo Kovacic happy with the departure of the current Juventus coach and described Frank Lampard as “extraordinary” coach.

The Blues have only spent one season led by the enigmatic Italian coach.

“I came to Chelsea when Sarri was coach, but I have to say that Lampard is an outstanding coach,” the Croatian midfielder told fourfourtwo.

“He has retained his character as a player and as a coach, which has inspired all of us.”

“He is committed to all of us. The drills are always challenging and very different from last season. ”

“This is probably the main difference between Lampard and Sarri, who had a very monotonous concept of training.”
