Napoli’s Jose Callejon says the Partenopei spent “three wonderful years with Maurizio Sarri, but now we will try to beat him,” ahead of tonight’s clash against Juventus.
Sarri coached Napoli from 2015 to 2018, and coming close to winning the Scudetto in his final season before stumbling at the final hurdle.
He left the club to coach Chelsea for a season, before returning to Italy with Juventus.
This will be Sarri’s first time at the Stadio San Paolo since leaving the club.
“We need points and we want t have a good fame that is deeply felt throughout the city,” Callejon told Rai Sport.
“Sarri gave us three wonderful years, but now he is at Juve. We want to beat them.”
