Odriozola’s path which two other players are not willing to follow

Alvaro Odriozola decided to move on loan to Bayern Munich in search of playing time, but neither Brahim Diaz nor Mariano Diaz are eager to follow a similar path in the January transfer market.

The former Real Sociedad right-back had made the matchday squad just nine times across Real Madrid’s 27 games this season.

Meanwhile, neither Brahim nor Mariano have enjoyed much game time under Zinedine Zidane, but they want to stay at the club and wait for an opportunity to show up.

AC Milan tried to sign the former Manchester City forward, while Getafe and several other LaLiga Santander sides have expressed their interest in acquiring his services.

Brahim is not part of Zidane’s plans, but the player remains firm on his decision to stay at Los Blancos until the end of the season.

Real Madrid have also received offers for Mariano, who doesn’t want to depart the club for the time being, turning down offers from Real Sociedad, Benfica and Villarreal.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez are another two players who have struggled to get playing time this season for various reasons.

However, the Welshman’s agent has rejected offers from Premier League sides and the Colombian, whose contract ends in 2021, will most certainly remain at the team until summer.

Finally, Dani Ceballos went from being starter under Unai Emery at Arsenal, to barely being given any game time under new coach Mikel Arteta.

The Spaniard wants to leave the Gunners, but the fact that the Premier League side have already paid the full cost of his loan move makes his departure complicated.
