Lukaku sees similarities between Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

“There are similarities between the two, and they’re the best coaches I’ve had in my career. They have the same characteristics, even if they use different systems.

“I think I’ve given my best with these coaches because if you don’t, it’s tough with them. I’m really happy for him and I think that with Jose on the bench, Tottenham will win something in the next couple of years, because he’s a top coach.”

Inter resume their battle for the title this evening against Torino, a fixture they’ve lost for two years running.

“They are a good team and it won’t be easy. We will have to face them in the right way because they have two good strikers in [Andrea] Belotti and [Simone] Zaza and we have to give everything.”

Lukaku was then asked about the issue of racism in Serie A, something the striker has faced at an away game in Cagliari.

“Racism in the world of football is something that cannot be denied. We must be like in England; direct, and hard. There is a big difference between life off the pitch and on it. But here in Milan, I am living well.

“Using cameras in the stadium is a start. We need to identify racists and ban them for life, as they do in England. They started like this and solved the problem.”
