Juventus director Fabio Paratici maintains Cristiano Ronaldo “is the best player in the world, probably the best in history.”

“Cristiano is the best player in the world, probably the best in history considering all the records he has achieved both on a personal and team level,” Paratici told Sky Sport Italia.

“He still has this extraordinary desire to train and play that goes above all expectations.”

The director of sport was also asked about the situation with Mario Mandzukic, whose move to Qatar stalled.

“We are talking to Mandzukic to find the best possible solution. We remain open to any solution, so staying here or going elsewhere. We are discussing it to find the best solution for both parties.”
