Tottenham are keeping an eye on Adrien Rabiot’s situation at Juventus amid his tough start to life in Serie A, according to reports.

The midfielder has struggled to break into the first-team ahead of Maurizio Sarri’s other options since joining the Italian giants in the summer on a free transfer from PSG.

Rabiot is earning £135,000-a-week at Juventus but his form has not matched up to his pay packet, with the French playmaker not scoring or providing a single assist in his five appearances.

And, according to CalcioMercato, Spurs are hoping to take advantage of any doubts over his form.

There are suggestions they could include Christian Eriksen, whose contract expires at the end of the season, in any deal.

Spurs have had a long-term interest in Rabiot and were one of many sides who eyed his signature in the summer.

Juventus may be tempted to cash in as their midfield options are so stacked. Emre Can did not even make Sarri’s Champions League squad due to the nmber of players able to operate in that role.
