Manchester United are readying an offer for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly – according to reports.
The Senegal international has long been linked with a switch to Old Trafford and was on United’s shortlist in the summer prior to signing Harry Maguire from Leicester.
Koulibaly continues to impress fans with his performances in the Serie A, establishing himself as one of the world’s best defenders, and speculation linking him with United won’t go away.
Italian outlet Calciomercato claim United are once again ready to make a move for the 28-year-old in the coming transfer windows.
Earlier in the week, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis openly admitted he would one day be forced to sell the defender which has led to United exploring the possibility of bringing him to the club in the future.
It’s likely Koulibaly would cost more than the £85million it took to sign Maguire from Leicester this summer.
