Italian team want Man Utd’s Matic as midfield reinforcements for next season

Matic could be handed an opportunity for a new challenge away from Manchester United with Inter Milan reportedly keen to sign him should he be made available on a free.

With Matic’s deal at Old Trafford due for expiry in the summer, Calciomercato report that Conte would be interested in a move for the Serbian if he was available on a free transfer.

United do have the option to extend his current deal by another year but it remains unclear if the club intend to exercise their option.

Matic is free to speak to clubs outside of England as early as January and while Inter are looking to end Juventus’ run of eight straight Serie A titles, they could reach a pre-contract agreement with Matic with a look ahead to 2020-21.
