There are reports Mauro Icardi has completed his move to Paris Saint-Germain on loan with option to buy, having first extended his Inter contract.

The new deal to 2022 with the Nerazzurri was an essential step, as it was due to expire in June 2021 and that would’ve left them at risk of losing him as a free agent.

After that was worked out in an overnight summit, he flew out with Wanda Nara in a private jet from Milan to Paris.

The striker had his medical at the American Hospital in Neuilly, while wife and agent Wanda Nara visited the PSG headquarters to work out the final details of the contracts.

There are differing reports on the exact details, as Sky Sport Italia claim it is a loan for €5m with option to buy at the end of the season for around €65m, with the player earning €7.5m per season.

On the other hand, Sportitalia suggest the loan itself is free, with PSG covering the improved €7.5m salary, and option to buy for €70m.
