Barca’s ‘NO’ to Neymar deal is just a transfer strategy

According to an earlier report from Mundo Deportivo, Barca have completely discarded Neymar’s signing. However, several other sources inform that a deal could still go through, so we deiced to explain what could really be happening.

What happened:

According to Mundo Deportivo, the club gave up on Neymar signing and have informed Valverde, Leo Messi, the other captains and the Brazilian about the decision.
Rumours have it that Mundo Deportivo is a source close to Barca’s board and the officials might use the newspaper to their advantage.

What others reported:

According to French outlet L’Equipe, Ivan Rakitic and Jean-Clair Todibo agreed to join PSG as part of a swap deal, Ousmane Dembele could still be persuaded.
According to RAC1, the French made an ‘irresistible’ offer to Ivan and the Croat could leave.
According to Diario AS, PSG are currently preparing a presentation video for Rakitic.
