Messi will be tested today to see if he can play the next La Liga game against newly-promoted Osasuna, reports AS.
It is expected that the Argentine can be in Pamplona to face Osasuna on Saturday even if he could be on the bench.
Messi suffers a soleus injury on his thigh at the beginning of August. He was expected to play against Betis but before the clash, he got an injury setback. So Barca have decided to take no risks on their ace.

Today’s training session is very important as Barca’s medical team will has a test with Messi to assess his recovery and will decide if he can be included in the trip to Osasuna.
