Rakitic’s name ‘on the table at a meeting between Barca and Juventus’

Ivan Rakitic was left on the bench against Real Betis. It has opened up speculation about his future and the Croatian has been linked by LaTDT on Catalunya Radio, with a move to Juventus.

Coach Ernesto Valverde’s assistant J on Aspiazu was asked about Rakitic’s situation before the Betis game on Sunday and he said “we prefer other options”.

The information from the radio show says that Rakitic’s name was on the table at a meeting between Barcelona and Juventus last Monday. However Juve need to raise some money to be able to afford the midfielder.
