Sergi Roberto and Barcelona ended with another Joan Gamper Trophy success, despite falling behind against Arsenal, and he’s pleased with the results of their pre-season.

The Catalans have spent time in Japan, while they will conclude their summer plans in the United States.

“We played a great game,” he told TV3 with regard to the win over Arsenal.

“They had more time this pre-season [to get physically ready], but for us it was another litmus test and we’re happy with the win.”

Playing in midfield, Sergi Roberto admitted to enjoying his time there.

“I enjoyed it and I hope I have more games like this,” he said.

It was him who assisted Luis Suarez on the goal that put the Catalans ahead, which also left him satisfied.

“The hard part was the finish. Thankfully, it went in,” he said.

“I’m happy to have played.”
