Hazard shouldn’t be compared with Ronaldo, says ex-Madrid player & coach

Former Real Madrid player Aitor Karanka feels that Eden Hazard should not be compared with their former superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 45-year-old coach has hailed the Belgian’s quality and he has reassured Madrid fans that the forward will meet their expectations.

“Hazard is a player who makes the difference, but we have to be careful not to compare him with Cristiano Ronaldo,” he told Agencia EFE.

“Cristiano is unique and putting that pressure on Hazard isn’t good for anyone.

“[Hazard] did it with Chelsea and in Spanish football, with the quality he has, he will certainly make a difference.”
