While his Real Madrid future remains uncertain, one option that Gareth Bale has definitely ruled out is the Chinese Super League.
The Welshman has been linked with a move to China in various media outlets in the past few days, but he isn’t considering moving to Asia this summer.
If he does have to leave Real Madrid, Bale wants to move to another top club in one of the big European leagues.
Bale has won the first battle in the war to stay at the club beyond this transfer window after making the plane to Canada for pre-season.
He knows that time is on his side – the Premier League window closes as early as August 8.
As MARCA reported in May, Bale is set to stay at Los Blancos for the remaining three years of his contract.
There have been no offers to take Bale this summer and the forward will continue earning his 17 million euro yearly wage.
