Multiple reports claim Barcelona-bound Griezmann didn’t report in Atletico training and will thus be fined by Atleti.

Reports from Marca, AS and Mundo Deportivo all claim Antoine Griezmann did not show up this evening to travel for Atlético Madrid’s preseason.

As they do each summer, Atletico Madrid have left the Spanish capital to travel to nearby Los Angeles de San Rafael for pre-season training and they’ve departed without Antoine Griezmann.

As a result, the wantaway forward will be sanctioned according to the club’s internal rules.

The Griezmann saga took a dramatic twist on Friday when it was reported that he’d agreed to join Barcelona as early as March and when Los Rojiblancos released a strong-worded statement.
