An image from Portugal’s locker room showing off a strange pair of shoes that belong to no other than Cristiano Ronaldo has caught our attention. The picture was taken ahead of Portugal’s 2019 UEFA Nations League final against the Netherlands on June 9, 2019.
The strange shoes we are talking about stood next to Cristiano Ronaldo’s regular Nike Mercurial Superfly 6 CR7 boots. They are almost completely black with yellow visible on the upper but without visible brandings.
The interesting element of the boots is that they feature toes in the front area, something we have never seen worn by CR7 or released for Cristiano Ronaldo by Nike.
In fact, Footyheadlines think that Nike never released such toe shoes as the website specialized in football wears have no clue what exactly they are – they could be a big Nike innovation or just a toe shoe CR7 likes from another brand.
