Paris Saint-Germain hitman Kylian Mbappe has poured cold water over a potential move to Real Madrid, insisting he will be in the French capital next season.
Real Madrid have been linked with a host of world-class players as Zinedine Zidane overhauls his side at the end of a disappointing season, with Mbappe and Neymar two of the biggest names.
Neymar last week reportedly told Real Madrid he didn’t want to join them, and now Mbappe has done much the same by claiming he is not looking to leave Paris.
Speaking to the media while on France duty this week, he said: ‘Now is not the time to talk about a move to Real Madrid.
‘This is something that I am asked about a lot, but I have said that I will be at PSG next season.
‘You (the media) always ask this question, but now is not the time.’
Real Madrid have already been active in a busy transfer market, securing the big-money signings of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Rodrygo – with Ferland Mendy set to join the new group in the coming days.
While over £220million has already been spent, with more expected in the coming months, it does not appear a raid on the Paris Saint-Germain squad will happen.
