Zinedine Zidane is pushing Real Madrid chiefs to meet Chelsea’s £100m price tag to sign Eden Hazard, according to the Evening Standard.

The Belgium international’s future is under immense scrutiny and he is widely expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer to join Real.

But Chelsea’s £100m asking price has long been considered a stumbling block for the Spanish side.

But now Zidane wants his summer overhaul centred around the arrival of Hazard and if spending £100m is what it takes, then that is what they should do.

Hazard, 28, could bid farewell to Chelsea after the Europa League final next Wednesday.
