Manchester United have been in talks over a potential swoop for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala ‘for more than a month’, according to reports.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must overhaul his squad this summer after the Red Devils failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Dybala has been linked with United for some time, and speculation that he will leave Juventus has been fuelled by his brother and agent Gustavo, who recently told Argentine radio show Futbolemico: “Yes, there is a good chance he’ll leave Juventus. Absolutely. He needs a change.”

The Argentine has scored just five league goals this season compared to 22 last term – having pushed out of his strongest position through the middle of attack by the arrival of former United ace Cristiano Ronaldo .

Italian publication Tuttosport, cited by Sport Witness, claims United have been ‘pressing’ for Dybala ‘for more than a month.’

There has been speculation United could offer a potential swap deal which would involve midfielder Paul Pogba going back to Turin – but the French ace appears to have his heart set on a dream move to Real Madrid. New Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is a known admirer of the United midfielder.
