Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici said that the club is “taking our time in selecting the new Coach, but we have clear ideas.”

Max Allegri was dismissed on Friday and candidates suggested to take over include Maurizio Sarri, Pep Guardiola, Antonio Conte, Simone Inzaghi, Mauricio Pochettino, Sinisa Mihajlovic and even Jose Mourinho.

“We are taking our time in selecting the new Coach. We need patience, we are evaluating the right candidates and have clear ideas.”

The phrase “we have clear ideas” was also spoken by vice-president Pavel Nedved in his interview with Sky Sport Italia on Sunday.

Paratici was at the Scuola Militare Teulie in Milan tonight to pick up his accolade for the Premio Gentleman Fair Play Award.

“This award is for my club, from the first team to the youth teams,” he said at the event held in Milan.

“At big clubs, you have a lot of possibilities, you are lucky to work with great players, and I’ve certainly got to work with some top players.

“I feel the pressure of the fans, they want to win, but truthfully, it’s a pleasure to work here. I’m a fan first, then a sporting director.

“Guys like Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, and Andrea Pirlo are heroes to me, they are the champions I’m most fond of.”
