Title-winning podiums go to waste at Anfield as Manchester City win Premier League title

It was all set up by the Premier League in case Liverpool pulled off a dramatic title win on the final but the winners’ podiums ultimately went to waste at Anfield on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were ready to capitalise on a slip-up from challengers Manchester City, who led the division by a single point ahead of the final game of the season.

Podiums and trophies were stationed at both Anfield and the AMEX Stadium in Brighton, where City were playing, so the league had all bases covered with the title changing hands a number of times over a thrilling 90 minutes.
