Manchester City are in talks with Sporting Lisbon over a £42million deal for Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

Talks are progressing over the move, which would also see Colombian forward Marlos Moreno go the other way.

City have concerns over whether or not Ilkay Gundogan will commit his future to the club while there is also interest in David Silva from Japan.
