During his team’s training session on Wednesday, Casillas complained of feeling unwell and was taken to Porto’s CUP hospital.
“Iker Casillas suffered an acute myocardial infarction during morning practice this Wednesday, at the PortoGaia Sports Formation and Training Centre, in Olival,” read the statement.
