Juventus have reportedly identified Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata as a summer transfer target.

Mata has enjoyed a productive five-and-a-half years at Old Trafford, but the Spaniard is expected to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.

Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal have previously been linked with the playmaker but according to ‘Tuttosport’, Juventus want Juan Mata to replace Paulo Dybala.

Unfortunately for the Argentine, he does not have a clear future at the Serie A side who expected a better performance of a player who, when it came to the truth, was not up to their standards.

The report claims that Cristiano Ronaldo is in favour of the signing, while Juventus are also prepared to offer Mata a lucrative deal.

Mata has netted five times from 30 outings in all competitions this season, although 11 of those appearances have come from the substitutes’ bench.
