Barcelona to make another move for Griezmann

Barcelona’s pursuit of Antoine Griezmann doesn’t seem to have faded away completely, even after the Frenchman rejected the Catalan club at the end of last season.

Just when the specul ation had died down, Atletico Madrid’s defeat in the Champions League seems to have thrown the forward’s future into doubt once more.

Griezmann is considering his future after Atletico crashed out of Europe’s premier club competition at the hands of Juventus, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.

The article also says that Griezmann’s current buyout clause of 200 million euros will fall to 120 million euros in June.

This lower price is a more reachable figure for Barcelona, who turned down a move during a reality TV series that aired last June called ‘The Decision’.
