Barcelona’s probable line-up vs Real Madrid: Arthur returns

Barcelona will be looking to make it two away wins against Real Madrid in the space of three days when the two sides face off at the Santiago Bernabeu in LaLiga Santander on Saturday night.

The Blaugrana ran out 3-0 victors in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night in a clinical performance, while they will hope that they can maintain their lead at the top of LaLiga Santander with a positive result; a defeat would put second-placed Atletico Madrid in a position to close the gap to just four points behind Barcelona.

Ernesto Valverde looks set to trust largely the same eleven that beat Madrid just three days ago. In fact, the only potential changes could see Arthur and Samuel Umtiti come in for Sergi Roberto and Clement Lenglet respectively. The only absentee is Thomas Vermaelen through injury.

Barcelona’s probable line-up: Marc-Andre ter Stegen; Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti, Jordi Alba; Sergio Busquets, Arthur, Ivan Rakitic; Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele.

Barcelona’s bench options: Jasper Cillessen, Clement Lenglet, Jeison Murillo, Sergi Roberto, Arturo Vidal, Carles Alena, Philippe Coutinho, Malcom.
