Juventus spent €37m on commissions to various agents just in the summer transfer window of 2018, including €15.86m for Emre Can.

Calcio e Finanza went through the paperwork released by the club for the financial year and found some interesting figures.

It emerges Emre Can was a free agent from Liverpool, but the transfer cost €15.86m in commission for his agents.

Jorge Mendes pocketed €11.5m for his role in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, even though Real Madrid were paid over €100m.

Miralem Pjanic extended his contract with the Bianconeri until June 2023 and that will cost €2.22m in commission to his agent.

However, many of these fees will be spread out over the course of the players’ contract and not added immediately to the club budget.

It’s worth noting that Leonardo Bonucci’s return to Turin from Milan was negotiated with only a €200,000 fee for his agent.
