Juventus’s sports director Fabio Paratici has revealed that they could have signed Mauro Icardi from Inter and Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid but eventually decided to transfer the Portuguese.

Ronaldo was transferred during the transfer windowo last summer from Real Madrid, as the leaders of the Old Lady were forced to pay Real Madrid 112 million euros.

Juventus made this transfer to motivate the team to win the Champions League, but another option for the “Old Lady” was Inter captain Icardi.

“After talks with Ronaldo’s agent, I talked to Andrea Agnelli and Pavel Nedved and I said,” I have an idea and still have to be evaluated so do not laugh and do not throw yourself out of the windows, “said Paratici.

“There are two ways to motivate the team: one that I can not tell and the other is to transfer Ronaldo. The first way? It was to buy the Icardi and start a wonderful mess or buy Ronaldo. ”

Paratici, in the same interview, has revealed details of the negotiations with Ronaldo’s agent.
