Ronaldo sells his Cheshire mansion but takes a £645,000 hit

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has sold the mansion where he lived while play ing for Manchester United – but has taken a £645,000 hit.

Ronaldo, 33, sold his five-bedroom pile in footballers’ hotspot Alderley Edge, Cheshire, for £3,250,000.

But he paid £3,895,000 for the house in 2008 – a year before he moved to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The superstar is now with Italian side Juventus but is fighting rape allegations in the US.

This week cops in Las Vegas issued a warrant to obtain a sample of his DNA.

The Portuguese player has sold the house “subject to contract” after it went on the market a week before Christmas, according to a listing on property site Rightmove.

The brick-built pad is spread over three floors with majestic countryside views.

It has an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym, cinema room and media suite.
