In an interview for ‘Goal’, the Betis striker previewed Sunday’s visit from Real Madrid: “We’re going to try to play a similar game to the one at Camp Nou”.

Betis striker Loren gave an interview to Goal in which he looked ahead to Sunday’s meeting with Real Madrid. When asked about Isco’s situation, Loren said that if it were up to him, the outcasted Real Madrid star would play all the time for talent alone – even when he is not considered to be in form.

Sunday’s game at the Villamarín

Chance to beat Madrid: “We completely believe in ourselves. Even though Madrid haven’t been doing well, we know that it’s going to be a very tough game because they have fantastic players who can put a goal past you at any moment and the game can easily slip away from you. We’re well aware of what to expect and we’re going to stick with our philosophy and try to put in a similar game to the one we played at Camp Nou. Betis are full of hope, humility and the fans we have here can help us to take a little step up on Sunday”.

Isco: “For me, he’s always play just for the sheer talent he has and for how he guides the team – if it was up to me, he’d play all the time. It’s true that maybe he’s not in his best moment of form and I don’t know much about the circumstances he’s under with his club, it’s always big news when Isco isn’t playing but they have so many good players that it doesn’t matter who they field”.

Rumours linking Junior Firpo to Madrid: “Within the dressing room we don’t really talk about those kinds of things. I’m sure he’ll receive tons of offers but he’s happy here and all of us who have come up through the youth system are proud to be succeeding at Betis – that’s what we want”.
