Real Madrid trained on Friday morning ahead of their Sunday night clash with Real Betis, but they were without Vinicius Junior as he was suffering from flu symptoms.
It is worth monitoring how the Brazilian is feeling as the expectation was that he was set for his first away start in LaLiga Santander against Betis.
The rest of training was normal, apart from Toni Kroos, Marco Asensio, Marcos Llorente, Gareth Bale, Thibaut Courtois and Mariano Diaz who are all recovering from their injuries.
Mariano completed part of the session with the group, just like he did on Thursday.
Santiago Solari also had Cristo, Castilla’s forward, involved throughout.
On Saturday, Madrid will train – perhaps without Vinicius – for the final time before they play Betis at 20:45 CET on Sunday night.
