Cristiano Ronaldo will be presented with the award prior to Juventus-Inter, having been named Bianconeri’s Player of the Month for November.
There are many good reasons as to why the Juventus fans have elected Cristiano Ronaldo as Player of the Month for the month of November.
Starting with the numbers, Ronaldo has already gone into double figures in Serie A with 10 goals so far, taking him joint-top of the leaderboard. In comparison to his last season at Real Madrid, it took CR7 until Matchday 23 (10 February against Real Sociedad) to notch his 10th in Spain.
To understand the historical significance of this data, before Ronaldo, Juventus’s last ‘debutant’ who scored at least 10 Serie A goals after the first 14 games was the great John Charles in 1957/58.
In addition to the 10 strikes, CR7 also has five assists to his name, as well as 99 shots on goal, finding himself well out on front in the shooting stakes (his second closest challenger in this ranking is Lorenzo Insigne with 61).
Moving onto the performances, this month we’ve seen an incredible goal, a fantastic assist to Mario Mandzukic in the Champions League. Not to mention his presence in every Juventus action.
So, on Friday evening, just before Juventus-Inter gets underway, Ronaldo will receive the applause of all the Allianz Stadium when a lucky Juventus Member will award him the prize.
