The world is slowly beginning to remember the name of Barça’s Riqui Puig. The La Masia graduate showed a brief glimpse of his talent against Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey and now the international press are predicting great things for the young midfielder.
‘France Football’ have released a list of names who they believe are future candidates to win the Ballon d’Or. Amongst the potential winners are Coutinho, Dele Alli, Varane, Sané, Pogba, Neymar and Mbappé. All of whom are names the majority of football fans are familiar with.
However further down the list there’s a section which is designed for even younger players who they predict could reach the elite in world football. Lautaro Martínez, Sancho, Ceballos, Asensio, Arthur and.. Riqui Puig. The 19 year old is a special talent but still has a long way to go. However his enormous potential hasn’t gone unnoticed by those at ‘France Football’.
