“Yes, I do want to return.” Paul Pogba told a Juventus fan of his intentions after the Manchester United game, according to Tuttosport.

The midfielder was given a thoroughly warm welcome from the supporters during his Champions League visit to the Allianz Juventus Stadium this week.

After the final whistle, while there was tension between Jose Mourinho, Leonardo Bonucci and Paulo Dybala, Pogba had other things on his mind.

He walked over to the Curva Sud and shook hands with the ultras, who he got to know well during his four years in the Bianconeri jersey.

“Yes, I do want to return,” Pogba supposedly told one of them, as reported in Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.

The World Cup winner was so caught up in seeing old friends, and delayed also by the anti-doping test, that he missed Manchester United’s flight back to England that night and had to travel with the supporters on a later plane.

Although his relationship with Mourinho has been “patched up,” according to agent Mino Raiola, the call of his former club remains strong.

Pogba made 178 appearances in a Juventus jersey, scoring 34 goals with 43 assists.

So far at Manchester United, he has played 110 games, scoring 20 times and assisting 22.
