Football Leaks claims UEFA helped Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City cover up massive Financial Fair Play violations in the form of inflated sponsorship deals.

Now head of FIFA, Infantino will be under intense pressure in the wake of this new information.

Football Leaks have revealed the new irregularities, with German newspaper, Der Spiegel, publishing the story.

According to the documentation, the Parisian club have received 1,800 million euros fraudulently by the Qatari government for irregular financing, something that should have led to their expulsion from the Champions League.

Therefore, the continuity of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe could be compromised.

Michel Platini, who chaired UEFA in 2012, participated in an agreement with Nasser Al-Khelaifi and his confidante, Jean-Claude Blanc.

PSG favoured a reduction of the fine of about 60 million euros and like Manchester City, took advantage of UEFA retroactively accounting for a fraction of the contract with the Qatar Tourism Authority for the 2013/14 season.

All this allowed City to lift the punishments suffered one year in advance.

Finally, another investigation into PSG appears to have been terminated without any reason in 2017.

Football Leaks notes that this was done viaUEFA ‘for political reasons.’
