The Premier League club is planning to add another member to their staff, a football director, who would take on some responsibilities from Jose Mourinho.
Inter are the favorites to get Marotta, while reports also inform that former Sampdoria boss is also on the list.
Marotta had the best period in Juventus history, helping them the middle of the table to win the Serie A title for seven consecutive years.
Marotta left because his contract was not renewed by President Andrea Agnelli.
