Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has announced that he has rejected a 150-million-euro offer for Robert Lewandowski.

This summer, Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi had said his client wants to leave the German champion. After this statement many European clubs showed interest to transfer him. However, Bayern was determined to not allow the striker leave.

Lewandowski has a deal with Zahawi to represent him only until the end of this month.

“We’ve always had Robert under control, but not his agent. He tried three or four times to meet with executive director, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, sports director, Hasan Salihamidzic and me. But we did not accept this. I said I had time for him only at 14:30 on September 2, “Hoeness said.

“If Robert Lewandowski can relieve himself from his agent and focus entirely on Bayern, then he is the best transfer to Bayern Munich’s history. We could have received 150 million euros from him this summer. ”
