Gareth Bale will take the challenging to replace Cristiano Ronaldo as a driving force behind Real Madrid after the meeting with new coach Julen Lopetegui in the last two weeks.

This decision will disappoint Jose Mourinho as Bale is Manchester United’s transfer target.

Bale has not yet discussed the future with Lopeteguin as he is on vacation. The 29-year-old will ask the club to make him key player after spending most of the season on the bench under Zinedine Zidane’s orders.

Bale believes that Lopetegui will tell him he is the replacement of Ronaldo, who was sold to Juventus for 112 million euros this month. If so, Bale will remain in the club that joined in 2013.
